The Alzheimer Society
Tuesday May 15@ 7:00 p.m. the Alzheimer Society will be holding an information evening focusing on how our congregation can better support families dealing with Alzheimer’s and dementia. These afflictions are a growing concern in Canadian society, and it will be helpful for us to learn how to be a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for families who are or come into our church.
Yard Sale
Saturday, June 9, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 The F&M team is hosting its annual Yard Sale. We hope to see you there.
Columbafest:
Sunday June 24 following 10:30 a.m. Worship Service. Come to Worship and stay for our Annual Picnic. Lunch, fun and games for all ages.
Kids & Caregivers at Columba:
Wednesdays 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. in the activity room. Kids and their Caregivers join in an informal non-denominational group where children play while the adults gather to chat.
Grief Support-drop in:
Sometimes you just need to talk to someone as you work through the loss of someone dear. Monthly grief support drop-in groups are held at the following locations and times:
- 1st Wednesday of the month: 5:00 – 6:30 p.m at East Minster United Church, 432 Bridge St. East
- 2nd Tuesday of the month: 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. at St. Columba Presbyterian Church, 520 Bridge St. East
- 3rd Thursday of the month: 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. at Hospice Quinte, 225 Dundas St. East
Everyone is welcome.
Grief Support:
St Columba is partnering with Hospice Quinte to provide Grief Support in our area.
