Yard Sale 2015 (Updated)

The Finance and Maintenance Team is having the annual Yard Sale on Saturday, June 6th, 2015 from 8am to 1pm. While doing your spring cleaning save a bit for us! Speak to one of the members of the team for more information. We also will be posting more information about what items we will be looking for (or not looking for), and will be looking for volunteers in the next couple of weeks leading up to the yard sale.

Update:

Donated items can be left at the church during the week of Monday, June 1st to Thursday June 4th during Office Hours and on Friday all day beginning at 9:30 AM.   Help with pricing items on Friday would be appreciated. If you would like to have your items picked up and brought to the church please contact Gary, Russ, or Joyce.

Some items we are looking for for the Yard Sale are:

  • jewelery
  • dishes, pots/pans
  • furniture
  • bedding/blankets/towels
  • sports equipment
  • tools
  • plants
  • lawn equipment, chairs, cushions
  • books
  • movies, music
  • toys
  • games/puzzles
  • electronics
  • plastic bags (to put Yard Sale purchases in)

Please note that we do not accept clothing donations, or paint for the Yard Sale. We also ask that donated items be cleaned and are checked to make sure that they are not broken and are in working condition (especially for items like electronics or dishes). We have received broken items in the past, and items/boxes with deceased rodents in them and would like to avoid such surprises in the  future.

Will you share your gifts?

Worship services on Sunday mornings involve many people sharing their God-given talents. You are invited to be a part of the variety of ministries that come together to create an experience of God’s loving presence as we join in praise and worship. As the summer months approach and some of our busy volunteers enjoy time for rest and renewal, we are looking for people to serve in some of our Sunday morning ministries. We are particularly looking for people who will run the Audio/Visual equipment (sound and projection). We are also hoping for a few more volunteers to count our offerings after the service. Are you willing to help in these valuable elements of worship? For more information or to volunteer your talents, please speak to:

Bruce C (Sound/Projection)

Maureen C (Counting)

Or call the church office for information or to volunteer.

Thank you for your help!
