A Message From F&M

The F&M Team, on behalf of the congregation, extends a heartfelt thank you to Carol B. Carol has held the position of Envelope Secretary and has performed those duties in an extraordinary way, including the set-up of the PAR program. She has far exceeded any expectations of this role. Carol has tendered her resignation from the position after several years of service in this area of church life. Thank you, Carol, for all of your help.

The F&M Team is pleased to officially welcome Phyllis M in the role of Office Administrator for the church. This position has been updated to include the duties traditionally performed by an Envelope Secretary. As these duties are transferred into the new Administrative responsibilities, please note that all questions related to your financial contributions to the church should be directed to the Church Office during regular hours. Our thanks to Phyllis for her role in helping the church run in an efficient and helpful way.

Garden of Eaten’ 2015

Thanks to everyone that came out to help out with the building and filling of two new garden boxes. We now have a total of EIGHT garden boxes!

These boxes are great to use if you do not have access to your own garden (if you live in an apartment for example), if you don’t have the greenest thumb, or if you want some bonding/learning time with the kids/grandkids/etc. These boxes are also elevated above ground level so that they are easier on the hips/knees/back/etc.

Like last year, anything produced in the boxes not reserved for private use will be of free use, and extra produce will be donated within our own community.

As a reminder, there are rain collection barrels to water the gardens, and a bin (as seen in the photo above) with watering cans and gardening tools for use in the gardens.

Please contact Steve V for more information.
