Rev. Jenn’s Holidays 2015: Pulpit Supply and Pastoral Emergencies

The Rev. Jennifer will be on holidays August 10th – September 6th inclusive. If you require pastoral support or have an emergency need during this time, please call The Rev. Please pray for Rev. Jenn and her family as they share this time of rest, relaxation, and renewal of energy and spirit.

The Rev. Jennifer will be on study leave from Monday, August 3rd to Friday August 7th. The Rev. Frank Hamper from Eastminister United Church will be available in her absence. Choir Practice will begin on Thursday, September 10th at 7:00 PM. This will revert back to Wednesday once sailing season is over.

Christmas Shoe Box Idea

This idea came from a person involved with the Christmas Shoe Box program:

It was discovered that the shoe boxes break down over time. The idea of gift bags was a result of this problem.

When you buy a gift bag, the CHILDREN now have a personal bag to store their treasures in.

Induction Service at St Paul’s Church

Induction Service… The Presbytery of Kingston will be holding a Service of Induction for the Rev. Jay Brennan as he begins his ministry at St. Paul’s Church, Amherst Island. The service will take place at St. Paul’s on Sunday July 5th at 3:15pm. The ferry leaves the mainland on the half hour. All are welcome to celebrate the beginning of this new ministry relationship.
