WELCOME BACK – Fall’s upon us – It is time to think about MISTLETOE MARKET. It will be here before we know it.  Work Bees will start on Monday September 12th at 1pm in the MacLean Hall. Come and join us.   A planning meeting is scheduled for Monday September 19th at 1pm.  We need your input so plan to attend and lend your ideas.  It takes all of us as a congregation to make this annual event a success.

The “I Never Knew” Samaritan’s Purse Trailer Tour – For everyone in your church, parish or community organization. For the first time, the “I Never Knew” Trailer Tour is coming to Belleville.  This tour will only be in Belleville for a short time.  Everyone is welcome to come and see the journey their Operation Christmas Child box goes through to reach their special child and all that these boxes have to offer the community they end up in.  It is a lot more than you think.  These boxes are often a small way into a community but so much more follows.  Come find out all that Samaritan’s Purse does, through your boxes, for children and families throughout the world.  When you finished your tour, you’ll say, “I never knew”.  Please share the information below with all your members and parishioners and feel free to print the information in your bulletins.  Everyone is welcome.

Please extend to the people of St. Columba my heartfelt thanks for the beautiful card I received today.

We always feel so welcome when we come to Jennifer’s and must admit to a little bit of feeling that we are part of your congregation even when we are here at home though we are far away.

The card and encouraging wishes helped make our day brighter today.

God Bless you all

Strategic Planning… Would you like to help us take the next step in discerning God’s direction for our ministry at St. Columba? The Elders invite anyone who is interested in helping us plan congregational Coffee Parties (to be held early in the fall) to join for a planning session. Would you like to host/co-host a party? Design the invitation? Determine possible questions to be discussed? If you feel drawn to plan any part of these fellowship events, come to the church on Tuesday, August 2nd, at 7:00 p.m. We would love to have your input to this next important step as we discern how God is calling us to serve our Lord together! Please contact the church office to let us know you plan to attend.
